Thomas Gridley was born in June 1681, in Hartford, CT.1 He married Hannah Wilcoxson, daughter of Timothy Wilcoxson and Johanna Birdsey, on Friday, 31 October 1704 in Stratford, CT.1 Thomas Gridley married Sarah Root, daughter of Stephen Root and Sarah Wadsworth, on Sunday, 5 December 1734 in Farmington, CT.1 Thomas Gridley died on 18 November 1758 in Farmington, CT, at age 77.1
