     Martha Satterlee was born on 10 May 1823.2 She married Joseph Stanton Gates, son of Israel Gates and Ruth Eunice Gates, on Wednesday, 5 January 1853 in Delmar, PA.1,2 Martha and Joseph had five children.3 Martha Satterlee died in 1882 in Tioga County, PA.3
