Stephen Hopkins was born circa 1631, in Cambridge, MA.1 Father: John Hopkins (b 1614 Braintree , Essex, England) - Mother: Jane Strong (b c 1615 Chardstock, Dorsetshire, England).1 He married Dorcas Bronson, daughter of John Bronson and Frances Hill, on Saturday, 4 March 1656 in Hartford, CT.1 Stephen and Dorcas had seven children.1 Stephen Hopkins died in October 1689 in Hartford, CT.1
