Mother Of Borgan Dies In Amarillo
Mrs. Lila J. Cook, 56, was found dead in her hotel room in Amarillo yesterday after last being seen Sunday. Death was attributed to natural causes.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Doc H. Massie, Borger; Mrs. Martha Winters, Ft. Worth, Texas; one brother, James R. Joslin, San Francisco, Calif.
Funeral services will be helld [sic] at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the Chapel of Minton's Funeral Home with Rev. Noel Bryant officiating. Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery.

The well-known Roger de Beaumont held Sturminster Marshal, Dorset, in 1086; it descended to the counts of Meulan through Roger's eldest son, Robert count of Meulan. That Roger took his name from Beaumont is a part of the general history of Normandy.
