William le Botiler, 4th Lord le Botiler, was also known as William ("4th Lord le Botiler") le Botiler, of Wem & Oversley.
Story
Son of William Le Botiler, 1st Baron Le Botiler, and Angharad, William, born 11 June 1274, was his father's third son to succeed to the family properties. He had livery of his brother's lands 8 April 1296, and before 1298 married Beatrice who was living 1305-1306.
Having served in the wars with Scotland, William Le Botiler was summoned to Parliament from 10 March 1308 to 10 October 1325. Before February 1316 William Le Botiler married Ela de Herdeburgh. William died before 14 September 1334 and was succeeded by his son William. Ela de Herdeburgh died childless after 5 July 1343.1
