An obituary was published in Sunday-Cal Chronicle on 16 December 1984

Herbert W. Noll, 80, of 297 N. Bridge St., Tunkhannock, Wyoming County, formerly of Allentown, died Friday in Tyler Memorial Hospital, Tunkhannock. He was the husband of Lila M. (Farr) Noll. He was a self-employed interior decorator in the Allentown area for many years until retiring in 1973. Born in Lehighton, Carbon County, he was a son of the late Edgar and Clara (Rex) Noll.

Surviving with his widow are a son, Charles F. of Fresno, Calif.; three daughters, Mae E., wife of Chester H. Strauss Jr. of Whitehall Township, Betty Jane Brown of Dallas, Tex., and Linda Marie Warner of Emmaus; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown. A calling hour will precede the services.¹
