• Harold married Mildred Victoria Cheverton, daughter of Arthur Cheverton and Clara Edith Allen, in April 1918.¹
• Mildred was half-sister to Harold's future wife Nira (they had the same mother.)⁴
• Harold C Holcomb was a laborer on a farm.⁵
