Dorothy Young Pixton Souter,age 77, passed away on July 3, 2001 at the LDS Hospital of complications from a brain aneurysm.
Born May 13, 1924 in Perry, Utah to Isaac A. and Elzada N. Young. One of ten children. Graduate of Box Elder High School in Brigham City, graduate of Weber State College Dental Assistant course in Ogden, Utah.
Married Richard G. Pixton on June 4, 1945, widowed March 2, 1953. Married Wallace L. Souter, September 20, 1956. Wallace preceded her in death on October 22,1964. She lived in Perry, Brigham City, Clearfield, and Logan, Utah.
Dorothy liked being outdoors tending her garden, doing yard work, and taking daily walks. She loved old movies, music, reading, crossword puzzles and gameshows. She enjoyed dining out & socializing with her family and friends. Active in the LDS Church and especially enjoyed teaching Primary.
She is survived by her children, Richard Young Pixton(Pam), Carol Jeanne Pixton Ashby (Dennis), Craig Dean Pixton (Linda), Boyd Kirk Pixton (Barbara), Kent Wallace Souter (Dixene) Lezlie Souter-Durrant (Larry); 42 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren. Surviving brothers and sister: Mary Young Stokes, Willard Dean Young (Doris), J. Lowell Young (Ruth Ann), Moylen Young (Delaine), Grant D. Young (Nola). Craig Dean Pixton passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021, at home with family by his side.
Craig was born July 10, 1949, in Salt Lake City, UT, to Richard and Dorothy Pixton. He lived in multiple places as a child, including Clearfield and Brigham City, UT. Craig had three brothers and two sisters.
Craig graduated from Box Elder High School in 1967, where he played basketball, and was on the track and swim teams. After graduating, he went on an LDS mission to Ireland. After he returned from his mission he married the love of his life, Linda Lee Young. They married in the Logan LDS Temple on November 18, 1971, and were blessed with nine children. Craig lost his soulmate in February 2011.
Craig had three great loves: God, his family, and his horses. He had a thirst for knowledge. You could find him constantly studying anything from religion and horses to nutrition. Craig was lucky to find love again in 2019 when he met Linda Hartman. They enjoyed playing pickleball, studying, and spending time together.
Surviving are his children: Kord (Shauna) Pixton, Slaterville, UT; Mandy (Bill) Kalista, Ogden, UT; Clint Pixton, Clinton, UT; Matt (Jeanie) Pixton, Syracuse, UT; Adam (Haylee) Pixton, Okinawa, Japan; Clay (Stacy) Pixton, Pleasant View, UT; Cade (Melissa) Pixton, Perry, UT; Kassie (Jeff) Roberts, Perry, UT; Cam (Dana Lynn) Pixton, Tremonton, UT, 34 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

BRIGHAM CITY- Linda Young Pixton, 60, passed away Friday, February 25, 2011 at Pioneer Care & Rehab, in the loving arms of her husband. Linda was stricken with multiple brain aneurysms just weeks before.
Linda was born on March 2, 1950 in Brigham City, UT, to Dee and Lucille Young. She grew up in Corinne with two brothers and a sister.
Linda graduated from Box Elder High School, where she was a Cheerleader and Rockette. She attended BYU on a scholarship, and was on the Cougarette drill team. Linda met Craig Pixton during their high school years. After his return from Ireland, he became the love of her life. They were married in the Logan Temple, November 18, 1971. That union was blessed with nine very special children.
Linda loved playing the piano, mind puzzles, crocheting and was an avid reader. None of these however, were as important to her as her family. Linda's whole world revolved around her family and it showed in everything she did and said. She was looking forward to a summer filled with family actives; four new babies, two weddings, Mandy and family moving back home to Utah.
Linda was a woman loved by all she came in contact with. She judged no one and loved everyone totally and unconditionally. She was and still is an inspiration to her family, friends and all who knew her. "She was the very embodiment of Divine Love."
Surviving are her husband, Craig Pixton, Brigham City, UT; sons: Kord (Shauna) Pixton, Clinton, UT; Clint (Miranda) Pixton, Clinton, UT; Matthew (Jeanie) Pixton, Layton, UT; Adam (Haylee) Pixton, Brigham City, UT; Clay (Stacy) Pixton, Ogden, UT; Cade (Melissa) Pixton, Perry, UT; Cam Pixton, Brigham City, UT; daughters: Mandy (Bill) Kalista, Woodbine, MD; Kassie (Jeff) Roberts, Perry, UT; and 23 grandchildren.
