Peacefully and surrounded by her family, Natalie Benton Hartwell passed away on November 16, 2021, at the age of 90 years.
Natalie was born in Thornton, New Hampshire and retired from the State of New Hampshire. She followed her daughter Cheryl to Alabama before eventually settling in Maryville, Tennessee. Natalie was a woman of many passions that included NASCAR, quilting, painting, and gardening. Her life was centered around her family whom she loved dearly.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter: Cheryl Reeves (Kenneth); Grandchildren: Richard Snell (Nancy), Randall Snell, Lauren Carter (Anthony), Adrienne Gower (Michael), and Kenneth Reeves Jr. (Kenndal); Great Grandchildren: Kayla McDaniel (Josh), Megan Strege (Aaron), Wade Reeves, Katherine Carter, Koah Reeves, Elliott Reeves, and Teal Reeves; Brother: Scott Benton (Velma); Sisters: Phyllis Holbrook and Ardele Gilman. She will also be dearly missed by her special family friends Cindy and Al Hunzelman, Joy Osborn, and her God-Daughter Erica Becker.
She was proceeded in death by her brother Alton Benton and her parents Scott and Evelyn Benton.
A Celebration of Natalie's Life will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021, at Blount Community Church, 1533 West Lamar Alexander Parkway Maryville, TN 37801. The Receiving of Friends will begin at 6 pm followed by the service at 7 pm.
Memorial Donations may be made in the name of Natalie Hartwell to the Community Food Connection, 137, North Calderwood Street, Alcoa, Tennessee, 37737.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Blount Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion.
