Mark John Rutkoski, 54, of Bay City, passed away September 12, 2017. He was born July 31, 1963, in Castletown, New York to Thomas Benjamin and Gertrude Coppin Rutkoski.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Sidney LaRue Howes Rutkoski; daughter Chelsea Wray Rutkoski; step-daughter Gabrielle Baldridge and husband Stephen; sisters Laura Watt and husband Richard, and Trudi Valli and husband Mark; grandchildren Corrie Gordon, Jason Baldridge, Madison Baldridge, Michael Baldridge and Annalise Baldridge; great-grandchildren Leah Gordon and Christopher Gordon; nieces and nephews, Joe Secovenie, Becky Cioffi and husband Mark, Katie Flint, Jonathan Valli and Lucas Valli.
Mark was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved spending time with friends and family and had a way of making people feel loved and special. He worked in the nuclear field for over thirty years. Mark was a highly dedicated individual, all in with everything he put his hand to. He held very high standards for himself and was a man of faith and excellence.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Coastal Family Bible Church; Golden Ave @ Nichols Rd. in Bay City.

Orpha Draney Dabel Howes died April 4, 2001 in the Star Valley Care Center of internal hydrocephalus.
Funeral services were April 9, in the Afton 4th Ward. Interment Afton Cemetery.
Orpha was born Nov 16 1916 in Tygee, ID to Samuel E. and Elma Welker Draney, the fourth child and first girl in a family of 16 children.
She went to grade school in a one-room school and had to walk 1 1/4 miles each way to school.
When it came time to attend high school, she moved to Afton and lived with the Charles Thornton family during the week and went home on weekends. She went to school until the 10th grade, then quite to help out at home.
She married Norman Dabel Oct 10, 1935 at the age 19. Orpha worked for the postal service for 20 years. They were stake dance directors for several years and loved to teach dancing. Orpha loved to fish and they spent a lot of time fishing together. Their home was never blessed with children. They divorced in 1955.
In 1955 she moved to Idaho Falls where she owned and operated a Mode-O-Day shop, a ladies clothing store. Orpha learned to play the electric steel stringed guitar. Her instructor was Roy Howes.
They were married in March of 1956. They both played in a dance band for several years. They owned and operated several motels in Idaho Falls, California and Lander WY. When Roy was diagnosed with cancer, she stayed faithfully by his side. He died in Aug 1969. They had no children.
After her husband's death, Orpha became a health-care nurse for the elderly. She also supervised a child-day-care center. She loved children of all ages and loved taking care of them.
Orpha loved Hawaii and sometimes spent the winters there with her younger sister, Loa and sometimes her mother. when her mother's health started failing, Orpha quit her jobs and came to live with and care for her until her mother died.
Following her mother's death she served an LDS mission in Florida. After her mission she became a health-care nurse again.
When her health started failing, she went to stay with her sister Loa in Bountiful, then her sister Ruth in Brigham City, then to Afton where her family in the valley could take care of her, when she required full-time care, she moved to a nursing center in Rexburg then to Star Valley Care Center as one of the first occupants.
After a severe stroke two wees ago, she died Apr 4.
Family who preceded her in death; her husband, parents, seven half brothers and sisters, five brothers and twin sisters.

Rhoda "Wayne" Howes, 92, passed away peacefully in Phoenix, Ariz., on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, due to causes incident to age.
Wayne was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister and one granddaughter. She is survived by brother, Frank (Wanda) Potter of St. Anthony, Idaho; sons, Barry (Mary Ellen) Howes of Richland, Wash., and Joel (Mary) Howes of Murray, Utah; daughter, Julie (Roy) Irwin of Glendale, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Wayne was born May 6, 1919, to Ivie Thompson Smith. Her father, Wayne Smith, of the Smith family, who homesteaded 480 acres in Lamont, Idaho, died in November 1918 in the flu epidemic. In 1923, Ivie married Lewis Potter. In 1936, they settled on a farm in Wilford.
Wayne graduated valedictorian in 1937 from Sugar-Salem High School, where she met her husband-to-be, Boyd Howes. After working in Idaho Falls, Salt Lake City, Lindon, Utah, and while working in the San Fernando Valley, Wayne reconnected with Boyd, who was working in Los Angeles, to attend several famous big band dances. They were married July 11, 1939. They moved to Arizona for two years, then to Pocatello, Idaho. After retiring from IB&T, where she worked as a teller and also in their finance department, she and Boyd became "snowbirds," wintering in Arizona, and then moved permanently in 2001. Boyd and Wayne were married 67 years before Boyd passed away Dec. 29, 2006.
Wayne loved to play bridge, golf, tennis and to downhill ski. She became a loyal tennis fan for the remainder of her life. Wayne was loved and admired by family, friends and co-workers. She will be dearly missed.
A private family gathering was held at Hansen Chapel in Phoenix on Oct. 8. An informal memorial will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, in Teton Cemetery in Teton, Idaho.
